Do you want to make a powerful difference in the lives of youth and the culture of schools and youth organizations?
Be a part of the mission of The Oxygen Project to empower youth to face everyday stress and significant life challenges with resilience and calm, through the practices of yoga and mindfulness.
Our yoga teachers lead yoga and mindfulness sessions that encourage social-emotional learning for youth and staff at schools and youth organizations.
Here's what we look for in OP teachers:
- Experience working with school-aged youth
- 200-hour yoga teacher training and experience teaching yoga/ mindfulness
- Children's yoga training preferred, but not required. (We offer training.)
- A personal yoga/mindfulness practice and a passion for sharing with youth
- BIPOC teachers are strongly encouraged to apply, as we believe that our teachers should represent the diversity of the communities in which they work.
- Availability during the school day and after-school hours is preferred (weekdays, sometime between 8am-6pm)
- Commitment to teaching at least one class per week
The Oxygen Project teachers are independently contracted, with base pay starting at $60/session.
